The 4-hour Operational Readiness Training course covers essential thermal imager and software operations: menu navigation, configuration of key settings, capturing-saving-transferring images for analysis, and an introduction to analysis and reporting software tools.  The content is universal and applicable to all makes and models of thermal imagers, however student our presentation materials focus on Fluke, FLIR. and FOTRIC thermal imagers and the associated reporting software: Fluke SmartView, Fluke Connect, FLIR Tools, FLIR Ignite, FLIR Thermal Studio, FOTRIC IRExplorer, FOTRIC AnalyzeIR, and FOTRIC NaviPDM.

32-hour Level I Infrared Thermography Applications course covering the theory and use of infrared thermography across a wide range of applications including predictive maintenance applications such as inspections of electrical and mechanical systems, approaches to production and process systems, and building diagnostics applications including insulation performance, air infiltration/ exfiltration, and moisture intrusion.  We'll cover key techniques for employing thermal imagers to find problems and validate repairs. The participants, upon completion of the training, will have an understanding of the basic heat theory necessary for successfully employing infrared thermography into their work.  They will be able to capture clear infrared thermal images and make basic inferences and diagnosis.  And they'll have an understanding of a set of techniques to perform surveys related to common applications: electrical, mechanical, building envelope/roofs, and more.

Students are challenged daily with hands on demonstrations, experiments and inspection situations similar to those they will experience in their work. Students leave training ready to put this amazing technology to work. This course fully meets the educational requirements for certification according to the published recommendations of ASNT.
